Scholarships
The Tahoe Art League offers this financial scholarship to encourage and support deserving students (seniors) from Whittell High School (NV) and South Tahoe High School (CA) as well as graduating Lake Tahoe Community College students who plan to pursue an arts education in any accredited higher education institution.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a graduating senior of STHS (CA) or WHS (NV) or be pursuing his/her Arts Degree from LTCC.
- Applicant must then be pursuing an art related degree at a community college, technical school or university.
- Applicant must submit the following:
* a statement of their educational and career goals,
* a copy of their current transcript,
* samples of his/her artwork that have been done in the past two years (preferably matted or framed),
…..If artwork is three dimensional and too large or heavy to present, a photo may be submitted with documentation of accessibility for seeing the original work.
* a letter of recommendation. - Financial need may be considered as a final criterion.
>> The students who win the scholarships will receive their scholarship monies at their schools’ awards banquets.
>> Scholarship applications are due on or before April 15th!
